What Vetofast is

Vetofast is a free, non-profit community directory of veterinary clinics and veterinarians in Bangladesh, run by volunteers. It helps pet owners find a clinic and helps clinics and vets be found.

What Vetofast is not

• Not a replacement for veterinary care. Vetofast is not a clinic, a vet or a treatment. It exists only to help pet parents find a vet. Nothing here replaces an examination by a registered vet.
• Not an emergency service. In an emergency, call your vet or a clinic first, before you travel.
• Not a judge. A listing is not a certification, endorsement, recommendation or judgement. We do not know, and do not say, which vet or clinic is good or bad. We have no ratings, rankings or reviews.
• Not a regulator or a legal agency. Vetofast is a community-driven platform. Clinical standards and legal rules come from the law of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC).
• Not a guarantee. A listing can be out of date. Phone the clinic before you go.

Vetofast is run by a registered veterinarian, who advises you to always choose a BVC-registered veterinarian. We try to be open about how we work. If anything is unclear, or you have a problem, you are welcome to contact us.

What "BVC registration checked" means

It means one thing: we matched a vet's name and number with the record of the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC) on the date shown. It does not say that the vet is skilled, that a clinic is good, or that a clinic employs the vet today. We use no other "checked" label.

Other details, such as education, memberships or services, are shown as stated by the vet or the clinic unless the page says we saw a document.

Using the site

You may search, read, and share links to pages freely. Please do not:

• copy the whole directory with automated tools, or overload the site;
• send false, spiteful or spam submissions;
• pretend to be another person, vet or clinic;
• add private details, such as someone's home address or personal phone number;
• try to break, probe or get around the site's protections.

We may block anyone who does this.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Give true information. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

What you send us

When you add a clinic, send a correction or claim a page, you promise that what you send is true as far as you know and is public professional information you have the right to share. You allow Vetofast to review it, edit it for clarity, and publish it on the site. Reviewers may decline anything without giving a long reason. You keep any rights you already have in your own words and photos.

Claims and corrections

A clinic owner or vet may claim their page after we check the claim. Claiming does not buy a better place in the directory, and nobody can pay to be ranked. Anyone may ask for a correction, and a clinic or vet may ask for a removal, as the listing and removal policy explains.

Our content

The design, logo and words of Vetofast belong to Vetofast. Directory facts about clinics belong to no one, but please say "from Vetofast" when you quote our pages. Map data is from OpenStreetMap contributors.

Links to other sites

We link to clinic websites, maps and the BVC. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say.

Your own responsibility

You use Vetofast at your own risk, whether you are a pet owner or a veterinarian. Finding a vet here, contacting them and taking their service is entirely your own choice. If something goes wrong, such as a scam, a poor result or unhappiness with a treatment, it is between you and that vet or clinic. Vetofast takes no part in any dispute and is not responsible for it.

We work carefully, but a volunteer directory cannot promise that every detail is right or that the site is always available. To the extent the law allows, Vetofast and its volunteers are not liable for losses from using the site or relying on a listing, including a decision about your pet's care. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept it.

Law

The law of Bangladesh applies, and the courts of Bangladesh decide any dispute.
