How our labels work
Every label says who said it and when. Here is how to read them.
How to read a Vetofast page
- BVC registration checkedWe matched the vet's BVC number with the council's record.
- "Stated by"Said by the vet or the clinic. Vetofast has not looked into it.
- Blank or "Not stated"Not stated yet. It never means no.
- BVC registration checkedThe vet's name and BVC number match the Bangladesh Veterinary Council record on a stated date.It confirms registration only, not the quality of care. It is the only green label.
- Claimed by the clinicThe clinic proved it runs this page and keeps it current. It is not an approval by Vetofast.
- Listed by the Vetofast teamOur team added it from public information. It does not mean we have visited or called the clinic.
- Listed by the communityA visitor shared it, and a reviewer looked at it before it went live.It does not mean the clinic has seen or approved the listing.
- Stated by the clinic · Stated by Dr [Name]The clinic or the vet told us this, under their own name.Vetofast has not looked into it. On a clinic, the facts are stated by a vet linked to that clinic.
- Document seen on [date]A reviewer saw the certificate on that date.We do not publish the document, and it is not a registration.
- DLS record seen on [date]A reviewer saw the clinic's DLS registration on that date.Shown only when it exists; a page without it says nothing.
- Phone confirmed by Vetofast on [date]The clinic's phone answered our code or call-back.It does not mean the line is answered at every hour.
- Map pin placed by Vetofast on [date]Our team put the pin on the map.It says nothing about the clinic's services or care.
- Not statedNobody has told us yet.It never means "no".
On vet pages only. A vet sent us a BVC number, and we are matching the name and number with the council record.
A label is never a rating of care. We never count or rank them.
